The fact that they can encapsulate anger with a sardonic humour only bolsters PS I Love You’s allure. Thankfully they have the songs too but I can’t help thinking that there is a certain under-appreciation in their worth to date. ‘Future Dontcare’ is taken from ‘Death Dreams’ the Canadian duo’s sophomore LP, a rifftastic dinger that sees Paul Saulnier shred his vocals (and presumably singe several beards in the process) amid a apocalypsian din. It all adds up to a band with oodles of personality, just like the ones we used to know. KD
