If you are into your Midlake’s, an updated form of folk that drips with a sense of melancholy but can often be confused with the feeling of euphoria, then this is the song for you. Bowerbirds are similarly wired you and going by the video that they put together for this song there is a lot of soulful imagination at work (they are signed to Dead Ocean”¦.har de har). Taken from last year’s ‘The Clearing’ LP ‘Tuck The Darkness In’ winds its way up to a wonderful crescendo which is surprising given that it was recorded in Bon Iver’s isolated lair. Impressive. KD
