Pretty sure we’d love this at any time of the year but given that it’s written about Christmas and we’re midway through December it seems particularly fetching. It comes from a label after our own heart called Old Ugly, based in snowy Edmonton and purpose built to deliver Christmas albums. This is the opening song from last years collection and features a myriad of contributors including Jessica Jalbert who seems intent on turning up on these pages every few months. ‘O’ To Feel Your Warmth Tonight’ is as quiet as a mouse and while nothing particularly stirs our hearts can’t help but trip to its tender beat.
