Winterpills received a good deal of love on this blog in the early days. Their disappearance off our radar is more to do with their lack of a formal release than a hardening of heart on our behalf. That said quite unbeknownst to us the Philip Price led troupe put out a homemade (don’t all their songs sound so?) EP late last year. It is quiet affair but a perfect fillup until the next LP arrives. It is is streaming in full on their bandcamp so to give you an even greater appreciation of their talent here is a song from the band’s self-titled debut album. Price is joined on vocals by Flora Reed, a combination that never fails to be anything less than heartfelt. KD
